About this event

The Archdiocesan Office of Family Life and the Catholic Council of Women, invites you to join women around the Archdiocese for a seven-part spiritual series on the book entitled “Real Presence: What does it mean and why does it matter?” by Timothy P. O'Malley. We will read the book and meet as a hybrid: virtually and in-person every Wednesday evening from May 25 - June 15 from 7:00pm – 8:30pm and conclude with an in-person gathering on Wednesday, June 15 from 5:30pm - 8:30pm at St. Matthias Catholic Church, Lanham MD, with those who wish to join via Zoom at 7:00pm.

We will meet virtually and in-person from 7:00pm - 8:30pm on the following dates:

  • May 25 _ Introduction and Chapter 1
  • June 1 - Chapter 2 & Chapter 3
  • June 8 - Chapter 4 & Chapter 5

We will meet in person at St. Matthias Catholic Church in Lanham, MD from 5:30pm - 8:30pm which includes dinner.

  • June 15 - Adoration, dinner, conclusion and reflection.

The fee for all sessions is $15.00 which includes dinner on June 15.
